Kings Add Infielder Diaz

Clinton, IA - The Clinton LumberKings, in conjunction with the Seattle Mariners have announced the addition of infielder Ogui Diaz to the 25-man roster. Diaz takes the place of infielder Ben Billingsley, who has been sent to extended Spring Training in Peoria, Arizona.
Diaz, 23, hit .245 with 10 doubles, three home runs, 27 RBI and 15 stolen bases in 80 games with high-A High Desert last season. He returns to the Midwest League for the first time since 2007, when he hit .186 with three doubles, 10 RBI and nine stolen bases in 39 games with Wisconsin.
Billingsley, 22, hit .143 with a double and an RBI in five games this season with the LumberKings.
The move gives Clinton an active roster of 25, with two currently on the disabled list.
