
Kelly Cup Fever Heating Up In The Ohio Valley

WHEELING, WV - If you were in attendance at any of the last three Wheeling Nailers home games, you got to enjoy a playoff atmosphere at WesBanco Arena, and the Nailers thank you for your support.
The Nailers have averaged 3,541 fans over their last three games with the largest crowd coming on Feb. 7 against Elmira (3,747). The first 2,500 fans in attendance at Saturday's game received a free U.S. Army Nailers camouflage hat in addition to the exciting shootout finish. Wheeling's average season game attendance now stands at 2,743.
On Saturday January 31st over 3,500 fans enjoyed Reno Saccoccia Bobble head night as the Nailers battled the Mississippi Sea Wolves. Over 50 Mini Mites from Charleston, West Virginia got to enjoy their first Nailers game and many from the Steubenville area were on hand to celebrate all of Coach Reno's accomplishments.
Friday February 6th the Nailers welcomed over 1,000 kids and parents from the Wheeling Amateur Hockey Association as they defeated the Dayton Bombers 3-2 in front of 3340 fans.
"It is so great to see all of these family's out at WesBanco Arena." Said Chris Perez Director of Ticket Sales. "Our next two home games already have great pre-sales with February 28th looking to be close to a sellout".
The Nailers currently sit in third place of the North Division just two points out of first behind Cincinnati and Elmira. Kelly Cup Playoff packages are on sale now and can be ordered by calling the Nailers office at 304-234-4625.

The Nailers return to home ice on Friday, Feb. 27 when they face the Dayton Bombers at 7:35 p.m. That game is a Friday Family Four Pack Night, where families can purchase four tickets, four hotdogs and four sodas for the low price of $44. In addition, the first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive a free collector poster.
