Kannapolis Intimidators Hosting Social Media Night on Tuesday

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (August 15, 2011) - The Kannapolis Intimidators, the Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, are hosting Social Media Night presented by Cellular Sales on Tuesday, Aug. 16 against the West Virginia Powers (Pittsburgh Pirates), and online fans are going to really "Like" this promotion. Last month the Intimidators launched a campaign to reach 3,500 Facebook fans, and with that milestone surpassed, those fans can now download a coupon from the Intimidators Facebook page - located at facebook.com/KannapolisIntimidators - for a free general admission ticket to Tuesday's game.

The Intimidators would also like to thank event co-sponsors Horizon Computer Systems at 1091 Concord Parkway North in Concord as well as T- Mobile located in Concord Mills.

Social Media Night will take place on Two-for-Tuesday, featuring 2- for-1 deals throughout the ballpark, and fans who "Check In" to Kannapolis Intimidators on Facebook at Tuesday's game will be privileged to a premium 2-for-1 offer. The Intimidators will also select between-inning promotion contestants by fans posting their seat location on the team's Facbeook wall or tweeting their seats to "@Intimidators."

Fans can visit the team's Facebook page, "Like" the Intimidators, download the special Social Media Night coupon, fill it out, and bring it to the box office for free admission into the ballpark Tuesday night.
