Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders and American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce that the team will return from its brief two-game road swing to play the Cincinnati Cyclones at Wings Stadium this Sunday, March 6th at 4 p.m.
After having a rare Saturday night off, the K-Wings will return to action versus the reigning Kelly Cup Champions, Cincinnati Cyclones during another Family Hockey Day in the 'ZOO and Stars Wars Night. During all Sunday home games kids (12 and under) eat FREE. This Sunday, the first 500 kids will also receive a FREE inflatable megaphone courtesy of Kalsee Credit Union.
Fans who dress as their favorite Star Wars characters will have the opportunity to win $300 in a costume contest.
The 501st and Rebel Legions Great Lakes Garrison will be on hand to provide a more authentic experience and to provide games for children. Games will be $1 and proceeds will benefit the Salvation Army.
Kalamazoo 7-2-1-1 against Cincinnati, who starts the weekend in third place in the North Division, seven points behind Kalamazoo.
Single-game tickets for all regular season home games are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information, call Wings Stadium Ticket Office during regular business hours at (269) 345-5101.
