Greenville Swamp Rabbits News Release
GREENVILLE, SC - The Road Warriors' return home from a three-game road trip and their opportunity to extend a three game home winning streak are reason enough to celebrate tomorrow's home game. If you need another one here it is; the Road Warriors are hosting their first-ever Church Night.
The highlight of Church Night is the free post-game concert from MyCalvary that will take place right on the ice! All ticket holders are invited to stay after the game and enjoy the 45-minute set from MyCalvary who hail from Spartanburg and feature Kelly Mimms as the lead vocalist, Rob Walden on the drums, and Thumper Lyles on bass. Fans who plan to stay after the game for the show are asked to take seats in Sections 112 and 113 as the band will be performing from in front of those seats. During pre-game and at the two intermissions music will be performed by The Lillies and Sparrows in the concourse area behind Sections 106, 107, and 108. Lizz Ryles of Shine 96.7 will also be the guest host for the evening. Tomorrow is also the final SPINX Friday Family Four-Pack night of the season. The special deal gets you four gold level tickets, four hot dogs, four fountain drinks, four bags of chips, and four pretzels all for just $48! All that on a regular night would go for $83 so take advantage of the value while you can.
Faceoff is set for 7:05 p.m. at the BI-LO Center with the Road Warriors taking on the Trenton Devils for the first time this season. Greenville has won three of its last four games overall, and earned wins in each of its last three home games. In their last game at the BI-LO Center on February 22 against the Gwinnett Gladiators, the Road Warriors skated away with a 7-1 win, and matched their highest offensive output of the season. Friday could also be the first game back for Road Warriors forward Matt Schepke who was injured on November 7, 2010 and activated from the IR earlier this week.
Group tickets remain available for Church Night, and all of the Road Warriors games this weekend. Saturady is "Pucks for Pups" night presented by Camp Bow-Wow and Road Warriors fans can bring their dogs with them to the game. There will also be a pre-game ceremony to honor former Greenville Grrrowl players. Sunday features a free post-game skate with the Road Warriors for any fan in attendance. Those who don't have skates can rent a pair from the BI-LO Center for $3. Groups of 10 or more qualify for discounts off of the box office price, preferred seating based on availability, and other great benefits.
