Salmon Kings Receive Aspenlind from Moose

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that forward Josh Aspenlind has been re-assigned to the team by Manitoba of the American Hockey League (AHL).

The Langley, BC native rejoins the Salmon Kings after being recalled by the Moose on December 11th. In 22 games in Manitoba with Victoria's AHL affiliate, Aspenlind has registered five assists and 26 penalty minutes.

Aspenlind, 24, has dressed for 25 games with the Salmon Kings this year notching seven assists to go along with 22 minutes in penalties.

The 5-11, 185 lb forward has appeared in 265 games during his four-year professional career amassing 37 goals and 73 assists for 110 points while serving 269 penalty minutes. Aspenlind has also seen action in 23 career professional playoff games netting 14 points (6g-8a) and 18 penalty minutes.

The Salmon Kings welcome the Bakersfield Condors to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre for a three game series this weekend beginning tomorrow.
