K-Wings Preseason Games To Air On B-2 Network

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks, announce that tonight (10/7) and tomorrow's (10/8) preseason games at the Sullivan Arena against the Alaska Aces will be broadcasted on the B-2 networks.

Fans can access the broadcasts by going to the Aces' website at www.alaskaaces.com. Jack Michaels, the voice of the Aces, will be broadcasting both games, which will face-off at 11:15 p.m. (Kalamazoo local time). With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Aces traditionally play their pre-season games on pink ice; the color used by the American Cancer Society and other similar organizations to raise awareness to the diseases that is the second leading cause of cancer death in women.

The K-Wings are no stranger to the colored surface, as Kalamazoo is 5-3-0-0 in games played on pink ice. Kalamazoo will play their annual Valentine's Day Pink Ice Game on February 14th versus the Toledo Walleye.

Kalamazoo starts its 36-game regular season home schedule on Saturday, October 24th against Reading at 7:30 p.m. Customary for opening night, all fans will received a FREE magnetic schedule courtesy of Meijer. Also, fans will receive a FREE team poster courtesy of Fed-Ex Office and Men's Wearhouse Tux.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games range in price from $9.90-$14.90 for adults and only $6.90 for kids ages 12 and under. Fans can purchase individual game tickets at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office or at any Ticketmaster outlet. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice and New Year's Eve game) will be increased by $1.

All tickets that are purchased for any K-Wings game on game-day will be increased by $1 per ticket.
