
Justin Eddy Returned From Portland

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC South Carolina Stingrays Head Coach Jason Fitzsimmons announced today that Justin Eddy has been reassigned to the Stingrays by the Portland Pirates, the Stingrays American Hockey League affiliate. Eddy played in goal for Portland last night, making 17 saves in a 5-2 loss in Springfield. Eddy replaced Kirk Daubenspeck, who missed the game due to illness.
Eddy will be available for the team this weekend when they host Florida on Friday night and Augusta on Saturday evening.
Justin played the last four seasons with Quinnipiac University. He was signed as a free agent by the Washington Capitals in April, 2004. The native of New Haven, CT had a record of 2-5-1 with a GAA of 3.65 and a save percentage of .863 in his previous 11 starts with the Pirates.
