Mississippi Announces Top Players In March

BILOXI, Miss. – Mississippi Sea Wolves Professional Hockey announced today that right wing Travis Lisabeth has been named the organization's Player of the Month for March, defenseman Mike Jarmuth is the Rookie of the Month, while Phil Sauve takes the Goaltender of the Month honors.

In 14 games during March, the Sea Wolves compiled a 10-2-2 record for a .786 winning percentage.

Lisabeth, 24, who turns 25 years of age tomorrow, April 1, led Mississippi with nine goals and 15 points in 14 games in March. The 6-foot and 200-pound Lisabeth registered five power-play goals, two game-winners and a plus/minus of +3. A native of Langton, Ontario, Lisabeth finished up the month by riding a current four-game goal scoring streak totaling five goals over that span. Lisabeth, who is in his fourth season of professional hockey and fourth year with the Sea Wolves has 23 goals, 31 assists, 54 points, a plus/minus of +5 and 88 penalty minutes in 63 games this season.

Jarmuth, 23, collected a goal and three assists in 14 games during the month of March. Through 65 games with Mississippi, the 6-foot and 205-pound Jarmuth has 11 goals, 19 assists, 30 points, a plus/minus of +1 to go along with 20 penalty minutes. A native of Monkton, Ontario, Jarmuth attended the 2004 American Hockey League training camp of the Rochester Americans.

Sauve, 25, appeared in seven games in March, posting a 5-1-1 record with a 1.81 goals-against average and .945 save percentage. Winning his last four appearances, the 6-foot and 195-pound Sauve has compiled an overall record of 11-3-2 in 16 games with the Sea Wolves since signing as a free agent on January 26. In his fifth professional hockey season, Sauve sports a 2.73 goals-against average and save percentage of .920.
