DAYTON, OH - For the second consecutive season, the Dayton Dragons and 1410 ESPN Radio WING AM have teamed up to honor the Dayton Dragons 1410 ESPN Radio Hitter and Pitcher of the Month. Fans can log on to www.daytondragons.com upon the completion of each month and vote for who they feel were the best Dragons players over the past 30 days.

Chris Valaika (April) and Justin Turner (May) have already won Dragons hitter of the month honors, while Daryl Thompson (April) and Rafael Gonzalez (May) took home the award for the pitchers. Valaika is nominated for the third month in a row, along with Chris Heisey and Logan Parker. The three pitching nominees for June are Ramon Geronimo, Daniel Guerrero, and Lee Tabor.

The winning players for the month of June will be honored on Friday, July 13 th during an inning break of the game against the Clinton Lumber Kings. Fans can vote right now on daytondragons.com for the June Player of the Month nominees.
