PAPILLION, Neb. - Yonny Chirinos fired 6.1 innings of one-run ball, but the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp were shut out 1-0 by the Omaha Storm Chasers at Werner Park.

The lone run of the game came in the first inning. John Rave led off with a single. Two batters later, Nick Loftin walked. Nick Pratto followed with an RBI single to plate Rave for the game's only run.

Chirinos (3-4) went 6.1 frames, ceding just one run on five hits. He struck out six against one walk.

Omaha (23-12) held Jacksonville (17-21) without a baserunner through the first five frames. Jonathan Davis led off the sixth with a double, but the Jumbo Shrimp mustered only three hits all night. Their best opportunities to score came with first and second with one out in the eighth and a runner on first in the ninth, but in both frames, they hit into an inning-ending double play.
