Joshua Leivo Signed to ATO

The Toronto Marlies announced Tuesday the team has signed forward Joshua Leivo to an Amateur Try Out (ATO) contract. Leivo will join the team for their game tonight against the Oklahoma City Barons, AHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, at 7 p.m.

Leivo, 19, appeared in 34 regular season games with the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League this past season, registering 44 points (19 goals, 25 assists). The 6-2, 195-pound Innisfil, Ontario native was traded to the Kitchener Rangers midway through the season. With Kitchener, Leivo posted 29 points (10 goals, 19 assists) in 29 games. He also appeared in 10 playoff games, recording 12 points (three goals, nine assists).
