
Admirals Release Potential Home Playoff Dates

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals announced today that Game 3 and Game 4 (if necessary) of any potential opening round series of the 2013 Calder Cup Playoffs will be played on Wednesday and Thursday, May 1st and May 2nd. Both games would be played at 7:15 p.m. at Norfolk Scope Arena.
Opponents and start times for these games will be announced on or before Sunday. This will occur if the Admirals clinch a spot in the 2013 Calder Cup Playoffs and once an opponent has been determined for the best-of-five Eastern Conference Quarterfinals series.
Groups may reserve tickets now for these games by calling the Admirals at (757) 640-1212. Individual game tickets for these games would go on sale on Monday, April 22nd.
2013 Calder Cup Playoff Packages are on sale now for all current Admirals season ticket holders. All season ticket holders have received information on how to purchase tickets via mail and email. For more information or to order your tickets, please visit norfolkadmirals.com or call (757) 640-1212.

The Admirals play their final three games of the regular season this weekend, with contests on Friday against the Syracuse Crunch, Saturday against the Albany Devils and Sunday against the Providence Bruins. Norfolk is currently tied for seventh in the AHL's Eastern Conference.
Eight teams in each conference qualify for the 2013 Calder Cup Playoffs. Following the conclusion of each team's 76-game regular season, the three division winners in each conference will be seeded 1-3 (in order of regular-season points) and the next five best teams (in order of regular-season points) will be seeded 4-8.
