Cantin Reassigned to Sound Tigers

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (April 16, 2013) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers have announced that defenseman Marc Cantin has been reassigned to the club from the Las Vegas Wranglers by the New York Islanders.
Cantin, 23, returns to the Sound Tigers after joining Las Vegas for the Kelly Cup Playoffs. The Omemee, ON native recorded one assist in six regular season games with the Wranglers and contributed two goals and two assists in seven playoff games before Las Vegas fell to the Stockton Thunder in their first-round series.
The 6'1, 192-pound defenseman has appeared in 20 games with the Sound Tigers this season, registering one assist and 44 penalty minutes.
