Marlies Defeat Oklahoma City 2-1 at Ricoh Coliseum

The Toronto Marlies defeated the Oklahoma City Barons, AHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, by a score of 2-1 tonight in front of over 6,000 fans at Ricoh Coliseum.

Greg McKegg opened the scoring at 11:04 of the second period with Morgan Rielly and Josh Leivo drawing the assists. Leivo's assist was his first pro point. Will Acton's eighth goal of the season would give the Marlies a 2-0 lead just past the midway point of the third period. Philippe Cornet cut Toronto's lead in half with just over one minute remaining in regulation, however, the Barons were unable to tie the game.
