Jones, T-Bones Power Past RedHawks, 10-3

The Kansas City T-Bones proved to be too much for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks in a 10-3 victory in front of 4,035 fans at Newman Outdoor Field on Saturday evening.

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (58-34) kept pace with the T-Bones through four innings but were unable to quiet Kansas City's bats, being outhit 16-5.

Kansas City (38-54) had five hitters with multiple hits in Saturday's game. Brandon Jones led the team with three home runs and four RBIs. Luis Rivera and Anthony Davis both went 3-for-4.

Shaun Garceau went seven solid innings for Kansas City, giving up three runs on five hits. Michael Joyce and Josh Hildebrand worked a scoreless inning apiece for the T-Bones.

Tim Alberts had the only multi-hit game for the RedHawks, going 2-for-4 including a two-run blast to left center to put Fargo-Moorhead on the board in the second.

Danny Gutierrez picked up the loss and dropped to 0-2. He went five innings for Fargo-Moorhead with four runs on five hits before being replaced by Opsahl. Derrick Miramontes and Chris Bodishbaugh pitched the last 3 1/3 innings, giving up a combined seven runs
