Jones named Futures Game coach

Bobby Jones' schedule just got busier.

Jones, manager of the Oklahoma RedHawks, was named a coach for the 2005 XM Satellite Radio All-Star Futures Game Wednesday. The game will be played Sunday, July 10 in Detroit.

Jones had already been selected as the hitting coach for the Pacific Coast League in the Triple-A All-Star Game. That game will be played Wednesday, July 13 in Sacramento, Calif.

Jones is in his 17th year as a Minor League manager, all in the Rangers organization. He has a career managerial record of 1,097-1,104. With 380 wins, he is the winningest manager in Oklahoma City Triple-A history.
