What: Going to be Uptown this Sunday? This is your chance to meet and skate with Chubby and the Charlotte Checkers Hockey Team!
When: Sunday, December 12, from 12:00-2:00 p.m.
Where: WBT's Holiday on Ice Rink at The Green Uptown. The rink is located at 400 S. Tryon Street in Uptown Charlotte. Parking is available in The Green Parking Garage. Visitors may enter the garage at the entrance on Tryon Street at First Street, or the entrance at College Street between Stonewall and Second Street.

Whether you're tailgating for the Panther game, or just looking for fun, family-friendly entertainment this Sunday, look no further than the Uptown Ice Rink. Chubby and all of the Charlotte Checkers will be there to meet and skate with the fans. The entire team will be signing autographs and taking photos with everyone in attendance. Plus, enter to win tickets or even one of three authentic hockey sticks signed by the 2004-05 squad!
Last year at this point in the season, the Checkers were 7-9-3. This year, the Checkers are 12-5-2 and tied for first place in the American Conference. This Sunday at 12:00, come out to meet the hottest team on ice!
