
Fahey Recalled To Worcester

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the New York Islanders, have announced that defenseman Brian Fahey has been recalled to Worcester of the American Hockey League. He is the third player from Atlantic City to receive a promotion to the AHL this season.
Fahey, 23, leads all Bullies defenseman and is tied for 10th among ECHL defenseman in scoring with three goals and 11 points through 21 games. The Glenview, IL native has tallied a point in four out of the last five games. Fahey was a finalist for the 2003-04 ECHL Rookie of the Year and ECHL Defenseman of the Year after finishing with 11 goals and 37 points in 55 games last season. His efforts did earn him a spot on the 2003-04 ECHL All-Rookie Team. On June 30, Fahey signed a one-way contract for the 2004-05 season with Worcester.
Fahey was a fourth round (#119 overall) draft choice of the Colorado Avalanche in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. He joins center Brett Nowak and goaltender Adam Munro as current Bullies in the AHL.
The Bullies battle the Wheeling Nailers at 7:30PM Friday at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling. Catch all the action beginning at 7:10PM with "Bullies Countdown" on ESPN Radio 1450.
Atlantic City returns to Historic Boardwalk Hall at 7:05PM on Saturday, December 11 when they host the Johnstown Chiefs for the annual Teddy Bear Toss presented by Lite Rock 96.9 and Cat Country 107.3.
