Annual Teddy Bear Toss December 17th

Dayton, OH – The Dayton Bombers in association with Dayton Area Police Departments and the Children's Medical Center of Dayton will be hosting the Annual Holiday Teddy Bear Toss presented by Meijer on Friday, December 17th when the Bombers host the Johnstown Chiefs at 7:00 PM.

After the Bombers first goal, fans are encouraged to throw their new or used stuffed animals on the ice at the Nutter Center. The toys will then be collected and distributed by members of the Bombers organization to local police departments in the Miami Valley, and to representatives at the Children's Medical Center of Dayton.

"It's another great opportunity for the Bombers organization to give something back to this community", said team President COSTA PAPISTA. "It's great to see fans both young and old participate in this unique event during the festive holiday season."

The Bombers are back in action Friday night when they host the Peoria Rivermen at 7:00 PM. Coverage on SportsOne, WONE-AM 980 begins at 6:55 PM.

The Dayton Bombers are pleased to be a part of the Dayton Public Schools "Book Barrel" campaign. Fans that bring a new or gently used book to a Bombers home game in December will receive $2.00 off the price of an adult ticket.
