OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Royals return from their Memorial Day weekend road trip to Round Rock, Texas Tuesday, May 27th, when they open a four-game homestand with a 6:35 p.m. contest vs. the Oklahoma RedHawks. A ticket special, as well as food and drink specials are on tap for the series. The highlight comes in the series finale on Friday, which includes Werner Fireworks plus a jersey auction to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Here's a rundown of the upcoming promotions:
Tuesday, May 27, 6:35 p.m.: It's $2 2uesday - general admission tickets to the game and peanuts are only $2, courtesy of Valpak, Z-92 and The Reader! Fans may also exchange up to four used tickets from any April Royals home game for up to four free general admission tickets to this game, as the Royals way of thanking fans for coming out to Rosenblatt Stadium despite a chilly and rainy April in Omaha.
Wednesday, May 28, 6:35 p.m.: KIDS EAT FREE! All kids 12-and-under will receive a voucher for a personal SUBWAY pizza or a meal voucher from the Omaha Royals. It's brought to you by SUBWAY, Star 104.5 and The Omaha Newspapers! It's also the second and final night for the above used April home game ticket offer.
Thursday, May 29, 6:35 p.m.: It's Thirsty Thursday with $1 beer and Cokes during the game, courtesy of 96.1 The Brew, Action 3 News and The City Weekly! Following the game, enjoy live music presented by Two Fine Irishmen!
Friday, May 30, 7:05 p.m.: Werner Fireworks follow the series finale, also presented by KGOR, KETV and The City Weekly! It's also Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Night, presented by SilverStone Group. The Royals players will wear red jerseys during the game and those jerseys will be auctioned to fans during the game to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. It's also Indy Car Night, with Indy race cars on display in front of the stadium, and fans will have the opportunity to win race tickets to the Iowa Speedway! Plus, it's another U.S. Cellular Dreams Come True night, when one lucky fan who signed up at an area U.S. Cellular store gets to be on the field for the Royals batting practice, throw out a ceremonial first pitch and assist in the press box during the game!
