Jeff Hamilton Reassigned To Sound Tigers

BRIDGEPORT, CT – The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced the reassignment of Jeff Hamilton. Hamilton was recalled by the Islanders Monday and made his NHL debut versus the Washington Capitals Tuesday on Long Island.

Hamilton leads the Sound Tigers with 23 points in 20 games this season. He also leads the AHL with 17 goals, 11 power-play goals and five game-winning goals and is on his second five-game goal-scoring streak of the season.

The Sound Tigers will visit the Albany River Rats tonight at 7 p.m. in a game that will be broadcast live on 600 WICC-AM and at www.soundtigers.com. They will host the Hershey Bears tomorrow at 7:05 p.m. and the Hartford Wolf Pack Sunday at 4:05 p.m. Both home games will be web cast at www.soundtigers.com.

Sound Tigers individual-game tickets are on sale at the Harbor Yard box office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on all game days, as well as on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 203-368-1000.
