Owen Sound Attack General Manager Dale DeGray describes the Ridgeway, ON. native as a pure goal scorer. "When you think pro caliber shot and skating, you think Jarrod Maidens. This kid has all of the tools to be a premier offensive talent in this league and fans in Owen Sound should be very excited about watching this player."

Jarrod describes himself as an offensive catalyst who patterns his game after Alexander Ovechkind and was on hand at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre this morning to meet fans, answer questions and become familiar with the friendly surroundings of Owen Sound. "I have been told this is a great hockey community" stated Maidens. "I am very excited to be a part of the team and organization."
