Jaden Peca Traded to the Greyhounds

Barrie, ON - Barrie Colts General Manager & Head Scout Jason Ford announced today that they have completed a trade with the Western Conference, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.

The Colts are sending forward, Jaden Peca to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in exchange for a 6thround pick in 2020.

Peca, 19 years old was in his 3rd season with the Barrie Colts where he tallied 70 points in 155 career games. He will be joining a Greyhounds club that is currently 1st in the West division and 2nd in the Western Conference.

"We wish Jaden all the best with the Soo Greyhounds and thank him for his commitment to the Barrie Colts and the community of Barrie" said Barrie Colts General Manager, Jason Ford.

These two teams will meet up for their final meeting on January 19th, when the Greyhounds visit the Barrie Molson Centre for the first and only time this season.

The Colts will wrap up their weekend with a trip out East as they head to Ottawa for an afternoon game tomorrow, followed by another afternoon game in Kingston on Sunday.
