
Colts Acquire Timms from Knights

Barrie, ON - Barrie Colts General Manager & Head Scout Jason Ford announced today that they have completed a trade with the Western Conference, London Knights.
The Colts are receiving defenseman, Matthew Timms from the London Knights in exchange for a conditional 15th round pick in 2020.
Timms, 20 years old was in his overage year in London where he totaled 1 goal and 23 assists in 35 games for the Knights this season. The Waterdown, ON native had played three previous seasons as part of the Peterborough Petes where he recorded 119 points in 182 games.
London and Barrie will play for the first time this season on January 17th when the Knights come to the Barrie Molson Centre. It will also mark the return of former Colt, Joey Keane who was traded to the Knights in December.
The Colts will wrap up their weekend with a trip out East as they head to Ottawa for an afternoon game tomorrow, followed by another afternoon game in Kingston on Sunday.
