Jacobs Reassigned to Elmira

ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, announced today that forward Colin Jacobs has been reassigned to Elmira by Buffalo from Rochester.

Jacobs, 22, rejoins the Jackals following his second stint with the Rochester Americans this season. A fourth round draft pick of the Buffalo Sabres in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Jacobs skated in two contests with the Americans and has recorded 17 points (six goals, 11 assists) in 25 games with Elmira this season. His 11 assists are tied for second on the team and his 17 points are tied for third. Jacobs also ranks second on the Jackals with 61 penalty minutes. The Coppell, Texas native has appeared in 131 professional games split between Elmira and Rochester recording 42 points (15 goals, 27 assists) and 253 penalty minutes.
