Evansville IceMen News Release
TOP SCORERS
Linemates Daultan Leveille and Tyson Fawcett have combined for 30 goals in 27 games this year for the IceMen. Both have scored 15 times and are tied for the league lead in that category.
PLAYOFF PUSH
Evansville has earned points in six of its last eight games, going 5-2-1 in that stretch. After stumbling out of the gate in October and December, the IceMen have climbed out of the cellar and are now just five points out of a Western Conference playoff spot with 45 games to play.
FOUR GAMES IN FIVE DAYS
The IceMen have a busy week ahead, with four games in five days, three of which are at the Ford Center in Evansville. Wednesday is the lone exception, when the IceMen travel to Moline, IL for a 6:35pm start against the Quad City Mallards. The IceMen then host the Mallards at 7:15pm Thursday on New Years Eve. Missouri comes to Evansville Saturday at 7:15pm, and Tulsa makes its first trip to the Ford Center Sunday at 5:15pm.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Help the IceMen bring in 2016 in style, as the team welcomes the Quad City Mallards on New Years Eve for a 7:15pm game. Stick around for the postgame fireworks show inside the Ford Center. If you missed it last year, click the link above to get a glimpse of the fireworks display. This year's show is expected to top it!
ABOUT THE MALLARDS
Quad City currently sits atop the Midwest Division in its second ECHL season with 33 points. The Mallards have the league's best home record at 11-3-1-0, but are just 4-9-0-2 on the road. The IceMen have had 18 meetings with the Mallards all-time, but 16 of those came in the CHL from 2010-12. Quad City edged Evansville 6-5 in overtime December 6 at the Ford Center in their previous meeting.
