March 28, 2023 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Everett Silvertips News Release
EVERETT, Wash. - Everett Silvertips forward Jackson Berezowski has been named a U.S. Division First-Team All-Star for the 2022-23 season.
Berezowski, an '02-born Yorkton, SK native, finished second in the U.S. Division in total points with 81 in 62 games played, behind only Seattle's Jared Davidson (82). His 48 goals paced all Division skaters and finished third overall in the Western Hockey League. He also finished with 22 powerplay goals, tied for the most in the WHL with Prince George's Chase Wheatcroft, and three shorthanded goals, tied for third-most in the U.S. Division.
The second-year captain of the Silvertips reached several franchise milestones in 2022-23, including: the single-season goals record (48), the career goals record (130), the first to record multiple 40-goal campaigns (46 last season), the third-most career points (232), the fourth 100-goals/100-assists player in franchise history, the fifth four-goal game (Jan. 11, 2023) and the fourth to record three or more hat tricks in a single season.
This is the second time Berezowski has been named to a WHL All-Star Team, having been named a First-Team All-Star in 2021-22. It is the first time in franchise history that a Silvertips skater has been named to multiple First All-Star teams, with the feat having only been accomplished previously by goaltenders Carter Hart (x3) and Dustin Wolf (x2).
