Elmira, NY- The Elmira Jackals continue their three game home stand this weekend when they play host to the Cincinnati Cyclones on Friday and the Wheeling Nailers on Saturday. After a 3-2 shoot out thriller loss to the Reading Royals on Tuesday the Jackals look to lock down third place in the North Division.

Friday-Jackals vs. Cyclones-7:35 p.m. First Arena

The Rivalry Grows: Fridays contest with Cincinnati will be the third match up of the season between the two clubs. Last weekend the divisional foes met up for the first time in Cincinnati at US Bank Arena. The Jackals skated to a 3-2 shootout victory on Friday evening while the Cyclones stormed back on Saturday for a 3-1 win. Both games were rough and rowdy.

Standings: The Jackals are currently tied with the Dayton Bombers for third place in the North Division, American Conference, with a 6-4-0-1 record (13 points). The Cyclones occupy fifth place in the North at 4-4-1-2 (11 points).

Offensive Weapons: The Jackals scoring department is lead by Tyler Donati who has five goals and eleven assists for 16 points (5th in the ECHL). Steve Yetman is second in scoring for the Jackals with 4 goals and 6 assists for 10 points. The Cyclones are lead by Thomas Beauregard who has eight goals and five assists for 13 points. Olivier Latendresse sits on 12 points (9 g 3 a) in 11 games played.

Masked Men: The Jackals goalkeeper staff of Mitch O'Keefe and Michael Teslak has been solid. O'Keefe sits on a 5-2 record with a .912 save percentage and a 2.74 goals against average. Teslak is 0-2 in his first two tilts but has compiled impressive numbers at a .927 save percentage and a 1.93 goals against. Cincinnati's crease has been kept by Kyle Gajewski who has compiled a 3-3-1-1 record with a 3.85 goals against and a .887 save percentage. Loic Lacasse is 1-1-0-1 with a .885 save percentage and a 4.13 goals against average.

Saturday- Jackals vs. Nailers-7:35 p.m. First Arena

First Glimpse: Saturday nights bout will be the first of nine meetings this season between the Nailers and Jackals. In late March these two clubs will meet up at First Arena for a back to back to back series.

Hard To Beat: The Nailers currently occupy first place in the North Division, American Conference with a 6-0-1-3 record for 13 points. The Nailers have not yet been beaten in regulation.

3's Company: The top three point producers in the ECHL are Nailers. Tommy Goebel leads the ECHL with seven goals and 12 assists for 19 points. Rob Sirianni holds down second with eight goals 10 assists for 18 points and Aaron Clarke has 17 points in the tune of six goals 11 assists.
