Johnstown Chiefs News Release
Johnstown, Pa. - The Johnstown Chiefs, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Colorado Avalanche and Columbus Blue Jackets, and the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters and Syracuse Crunch, announced today that Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) has joined as a sponsor for the 2008-09 season.
"Concurrent Technologies Corporation is pleased and proud to extend their commitment to the Chiefs for two more years. CTC has a long standing history of support of the Chiefs because we understand the importance of the team in terms of quality of life issues for the community as well as direct economic impact that the team has on Johnstown," said Ed Sheehan, president of CTC.
"Furthermore, we're excited about the direction of the team and believe that Roustan United will provide the solid leadership needed to preserve the rich Chiefs tradition in Johnstown. We fully encourage other organizations in the community to step up and support the chiefs," added Sheehan.
"CTC has historically been a great supporter of the Chiefs, and we're pleased that they have agreed to extend our partnership. We're proud to have the support of an industry leader as well as an important part of the community. We look forward to embracing our relationship well into the future," said Chiefs vice president and general manager Bill Bredin.
