
Forward Reaney Assigned to Bombers by NHL's Edmonton Oilers

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Bombers announced today that the NHL's Edmonton Oilers have recalled forward Les Reaney from Rapid City of the Central Hockey League and have reassigned him to the Bombers.
Reaney, 24, started the season with Rapid City, recording 15 points (5g,10a) in 8 games with 4 penalty minutes. The Saskatchewan native made his professional debut last year with the ECHL's Stockton Thunder, seeing action in five games.
"Les has the ability to put up big numbers for us," head coach Bill McDonald said. "He's a big man that will add some offense to the team."
The 6-foot-2-inch, 221-pound centerman played three seasons at Niagara University, earning Co-CHA Rookie of the Year in 2006 and was twice named to the All-CHA Second Team. Reaney had 99 career points with Niagara.
Prior to his collegiate career Reaney skated in the British Columbia Hockey League for Vernon and Williams Lake, where he led the league in scoring with 100 points (38g,62a).
