Mississippi Acquires Defenseman Salekin From Reading

BILOXI, MS- The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced on Thursday that they have acquired defenseman Mike Salekin from the Reading Royals in exchange for future considerations.

"Mike will bring some grit and good defense to our back end," said Sea Wovles head coach Steffon Walby. "He has some offensive ability that will allow our forwards to get the puck and do what they do best."

In ten games with the Royals this season, Salekin scored two goals, assisted on four others (six points) and picked up twenty-two penalty minutes. Salekin will join the team in Charlotte for Saturday night's game against the Checkers at Time Warner Cable Arena.

The next broadcast of Sea Wolves hockey is Saturday when the Sea Wolves visit the Charlotte Checkers at 6:05 p.m. The pre-game show will begin at 5:45 p.m! Games can be viewed on the B2 Networks and the audio broadcast is available for free at www.msseawolves.com.
