Jackals Sign Two Forwards

ELMIRA, NY - - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, announced today that the club has signed forwards Tyler Gjurich and Ryan Patsch to Standard Player Contracts.

Gjurich, 23, has recorded 42 points (27 goals, 15 assists) in 22 games with the Danbury Titans of the FHL this season while also appearing in one contest for the Quad City Mallards. The Hatfield, Penn. native was invited to the Jackals main training camp last season, but was released prior to the start of the campaign. Two seasons ago, Gjurich skated briefly with the San Francisco Bulls and the Columbus Cottonmouths of the SPHL.

Patsch, 24, returns to Elmira where he made his ECHL debut last season. The Philadelphia, Penn. native has spent the past three seasons with Danbury in the FHL and this season he has posted 35 points (12 goals, 23 assists) in 25 games while skating alongside Gjurich.
