Jackals Release Four from Roster

ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the ECHL, announced today that they have released forwards Chris Holmes and Zachary Kane along with defensemen Bill Haas and John Burton from the club effective on Sunday.
Holmes and Kane appeared in both Jackals' wins this weekend, a 6-4 victory Friday at Trenton and 3-2 overtime decision Saturday in Johnstown. Haas and Burton joined the club in Johnstown Saturday afternoon and appeared in the club's win that night.
The four players were pointless on the weekend with Holmes posting a -1 rating in Friday's contest at Trenton.
The Elmira Jackals will conclude a three-game road trip Wednesday night when they visit Reading in a 6:35 p.m. face-off. The contest can be heard live on MAGIC-FM (92.7/97.7) and on-line at www.jackalshockey.com beginning at 6:05 p.m. with the Hill Top Inn Countdown to Face-Off.
