ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades completed this past week with a 2-0-0 record. The Everblades enter this week's action with a record of 34-20-7 (75 pts., 4th, South Division.)

UPCOMING GAMES (All times Eastern)

Tuesday, March 11 vs. Mississippi Sea Wolves Game Time: 7:30 p.m. The Everblades wrap up their brief three-game home-stand on Tuesday night vs. the Sea Wolves. The game is the ninth and final between the South Division rivals this season. The Everblades hold a 6-2-0 record vs. the Sea Wolves this season and have won three straight from Mississippi. The Sea Wolves enter this week with a record of 24-35-3 (51 pts., 8th, South Division).

Promotions: The first 2,500 fans will receive Set #2 of Everblades Player Trading Cards courtesy of GHP Sport, www.ghpsport.com.

Tuesday night is also Dollar Hot Dog Night! Fans can enjoy hot dogs all night long for just $1.

Friday, March 14 at Columbia Inferno Game Time: 7:05 p.m. The Everblades begin their final road trip of the regular season on Friday night at Columbia. The game is the eighth and final between the clubs this regular season. Florida holds a slight advantage in the season series with a 4-3-0 mark. At Columbia this season the Everblades hold a record of 1-2-0. The last meeting between the South Division rivals resulted in a 4-3 Columbia win on January 12 at the Carolina Coliseum. Columbia enters this week's action with a record of 27-24-10 (64 pts., T-5th South Division).

Saturday, March 15 at South Carolina Stingrays Game Time: 7:05 p.m. The Everblades make yet another visit to the N. Charleston Coliseum this weekend. The Blades and Rays meet for the eighth of nine times on the season when they get together this Saturday night. The Everblades hold a 4-1-2 record vs. South Carolina this year and are 1-0-1 on the road vs. the Stingrays. The last meeting between the teams saw South Carolina come from behind to win 4-3 in a shootout on February 24 in Charleston. South Carolina enters this week's action with a record of 37-21-3 (77pts., 3rd, South Division).

Friday, March 7 vs. Mississippi Sea Wolves 3-2 Win The Everblades came from behind with two third period goals to erase a 2-1 deficit and earn their sixth straight win at home with a 3-2 victory over Mississippi. Derek Damon scored Florida's first goal on the power play in the first period. Jarret Lukin tied the game midway through the third period, then Ernie Hartlieb notched the game-winner with just over three minutes left in regulation with a power play goal. In goal David Shantz picked up the win and improved to 5-0-1 in his last six games after stopping 29 of 31 shots, including stopping a first period penalty shot. Florida Special Teams: PP: 2-for-6; PK: 5-for-5.

Saturday, March 8 vs. Mississippi Sea Wolves 5-2 Win The Everblades dominated the game on Saturday night vs. Mississippi scoring the game's first four goals en-route to a 5-2 victory. Five different players scored for Florida with new-comer Kenndal McArdle scoring first. Mathieu Melanson, Mike McLean and Brsndon Roach gave the Blades a 4-0 lead entering the third period. The Sea Wolves rattled off two goals in the first 90 seconds of the third period, but Derek Damon later sealed the contest with an empty net goal. In goal Kevin Nastiuk collected the win by turning away 29 of 31 shots. Florida Special Teams: PP: 1-for-3; PK: 1-for-1.

For those wondering, the all-time Everblades record for longest home winning streak is 12 done during the 2005-06 season. At 21-5-3 on home ice this season, and seven home games remaining, the Everblades still have a chance to tie the all-time record for most home wins in one season with 28, which was done in 1999-00.
