LAST WEEK: Fresno went 3-0-0 last week, sweeping a three-game series in Utah. The Falcons are 34-15-8 for 76 points, and are in second place of the Pacific Division, 12 points behind the division-leading Las Vegas Wranglers. Fresno has four -games-in-hand on Las Vegas.
Wednesday, March 5 @ Utah FALCONS 4 Grizzlies 3 (OT)
Matt Quinn scored two goals in regulation, and P.O. Beaulieu scored the game winner in overtime, lifting the Falcons to a 4-3 overtime win on Wednesday, and clinching a spot in the 2008 Kelly Cup Playoffs. Quinn opened the scoring just 2:16 into the contest, but the Grizzlies pulled even on an Evan Kotsopoulos power-play goal at 11:15 Josh Prudden put Fresno back on top 1:52 into the second period, but Utah answered just 13 seconds later on a Scott Burt tally to again pull even. Burt scored his second of the period at 7:52 giving the Grizzlies their first lead of the night. Quinn notched his second of the game at 15:36 to tie the score at 3. In the extra session, Beaulieu took a pass from Kenny Bernard and blasted a shot home from the left-wing circle to give the Falcons the win.
Friday, March 7 @ Utah FALCONS 4 Grizzlies 1
Fresno won its third straight game on Friday, defeating Utah 4-1. Spencer Carbery broke a scoreless deadlock 10:56 into the second period with his first goal as a Falcon, and Oren Eizenman added a 5-on-3 power play goal at 17:18 giving Fresno a 2-0 lead after 40 minutes. Jeff Dwyer pulled Utah within one with a power-play goal 2:04 into the third period, but the Falcons answered with a power-play goal of their own from Matt Stefanishion at 4:43 to regain the two-goal lead. Mike Ramsay set the final, scoring his 14th goal of the season just 28 seconds later. Jake Moreland picked up the win in net, turning aside 23 Grizzlies' shots.
Sunday, March 9 @ Utah FALCONS 6 Grizzlies 4
Fresno raced out to a 4-0 lead after one period, and then held on for a 6-4 win at Utah on Sunday. Oren Eizenman scored a penalty shot goal 3:32 into the first period to open the scoring, while Josh Prudden scored once and Stuart MacRae added a pair in the opening period for a four-goal lead. After Utah got on the board 3:18 into the second period, Matt Quinn restored the four-goal advantage just 46 seconds later. The Grizzlies scored twice more in the second, and again midway through the third to pull within one, but Kenny Bernard capped his four-point game (g, 3a) with an empty-net tally with 58 seconds left to ice the game.
THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Tuesday, March 11 vs. Idaho 7:00 p.m.
The Falcons and Steelheads meet for the fifth of eight times this season, and for the second time at Save Mart Center. Fresno is 4-0-0 against Idaho this season, and dating back to last season has won six straight games against the Steeleheads.
PROMOTIONS: It's Kids' Day at the Rink, presented by The Fresno Bee, ABC 30, Little Caesar's, and Educational Employees Credit Union. The first 1,000 kids 12 and younger in attendance receive a free growth chart. Falcons' players will be wearing special kids' day jerseys, which will be auctioned off following the game to benefit Children's Hospital of Central California. It's also a Two-for-Tuesday, presented by Carl's Jr., KMPH Fox 26, and KRZR 103.7 FM. Fans can visit any area Carl's Jr., and pick up a voucher allowing them to purchase one ticket at regular price and get a second ticket for free.
Wednesday, March 12 vs. Alaska 7:00 p.m.
Fresno concludes its season series against Alaska on Wednesday at Save Mart Center. The Falcons are 2-4-1 overall against the Aces this season, including 2-2-0 at home.
PROMOTIONS: The Falcons welcome the U.S. Army back to Save Mart Center, giving fans another chance to participate in the Army Strong Push-up Challenge. Fans have 60 seconds to do as many push-ups for the chance to take part in the finals on April 1. It's also Ladies Night, with tickets for all ladies just $7. Ten lucky ladies will be selected to act as personal on-ice trainers for 10 Army soldiers during the first intermission.

Saturday, March 15 @ Stockton 7:30 p.m.
Fresno travels to Stockton for the final time in the regular season. The Falcons are 4-2-0 overall against the Thunder this season, and 1-2-0 at Stockton Arena.
FALCONS NOTES
- Fresno is unbeaten in regulation in its last seven road games (5-0-2), and is 7-1-3 in its last 11 games away from home.
- The Falcons' seven road losses are tied with Las Vegas for the fewest in the National Conference, and tied fourth fewest in the ECHL.
- In his last four appearances, Jake Moreland is 3-0-0 with a 1.78 goals-against average and a .935 save percentage.
- With 380 ECHL assists, Luke Curtin is fifth all-time in league history, and trails John Spoltore and Daryl Noren by 10 assists for third place. His 572 ECHL points is 11th in league history, and is 15 behind Dave Seitz for 10th place.
- After starting the season 6-6-3 through the first 15 games, the Falcons have gone 28-9-5 in its last 42 games.
- Fresno is 23-2-5 when scoring first, and 26-1-2 when scoring four goals or more.

The World Famous San Diego Chicken returns to Save Mart Center on Saturday, March 22, when the Falcons host the Bakersfield Condors at 7:30 p.m. This game is incorrectly listed as an away game on the Falcons' pocket schedule.
