
Jackals Playoff Roster Set

ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the ECHL, announced today that they have set their playoff roster for the upcoming Kelly Cup playoffs. The 23-man roster will consist of 13 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders.
Highlighting Elmira's post-season participants are two of the top rookies in the ECHL, Benoit Doucet and Pierre-Luc Faubert. Doucet led the club with 52 assists and 83 points while line mate Faubert shared the club lead in goal scoring (31) with Doucet and finished the year as the Jackals' second-leading scorer with 76 points. Both finished in the top five in rookie scoring in the ECHL.
Five players currently on American Hockey League recall submitted on Elmira's playoff roster include centers Scott May (Binghamton) and Kevin Ulanski (Milwaukee), defensemen Tomas Kudelka (Binghamton) and Bryan Rodney (Albany) and goaltender Dan LaCosta (Syracuse). Those players will join Elmira upon the elimination of their club from post-season contention or as their AHL club is eliminated from the Calder Cup playoffs.

The Jackals begin their pursuit of the Kelly Cup against the Reading Royals in the North Division semifinals Friday at First Arena (7:35 p.m.).
