
Gladiators Release 2008 Playoff Roster

Atlanta Gladiators News Release
The Gwinnett Gladiators announced their 2008 Kelly Cup Playoff roster today. Gwinnett has 23 players on the 2008 Kelly Cup Playoff roster. In addition to 20 players currently with Gwinnett, the roster includes three players currently on recall to the American Hockey League. The complete roster is included in this release.
The Gladiators open the South Division Qurterfinals against the Charlotte Checkers on Tuesday, April 8th at the Arena at Gwinnett Center at 7:05 p.m. Game 2 of the series is also at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Thursday, April 10th at 7:05 p.m. Games 3 & 4, if necessary, are in Charlotte while Game 5, if necessary, is at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Tuesday, April 15th at 7:05 p.m.

The Gladiators continue their fifth anniversary season with Game 1 of the 2008 Kelly Cup Playoffs on Tuesday, April 8th as they host the Charlotte Checkers at the Arena at Gwinnett Center at 7:05 p.m. Catch all the play-by-play action in Tuesaday's game online via Accessnorthga.com.
Celebrating its 20th Anniversary as the Premier 'AA' Hockey League in 2007-08, the ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in three states and has grown to be a coast-to-coast league that has 25 teams in 17 states and British Columbia in 2007-08. The 25 teams includes the Mississippi (Biloxi) Sea Wolves, who return after missing two seasons in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and the expansion Elmira (N.Y.) Jackals. The ECHL will play 900 games beginning Oct. 18 and concluding Apr. 5.
