Dakers, Miller Return To AHL

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks and the Worcester Sharks, have announced that goalie Taylor Dakers has been re-assigned by San Jose to Worcester of the American Hockey League and defenseman Gerard Miller has been loaned to Milwaukee of the American Hockey League.

Dakers, 21, started the final 15 games of the regular season for the RoadRunners and went 6-7-2 with a 2.34 goals against average and a .930% save percentage. The rookie from Langley, British Columbia was assigned by San Jose to Phoenix on Feb. 29 after posting a 4-10-1 record with a 3.24 goals against average and a .886% save percentage in 18 games with the Worcester Sharks. Dakers was selected by San Jose in the fifth round (140th overall) at the 2005 NHL Entry Draft

Miller, 25, returns to Milwaukee after totaling four goals and 25 points with a plus-19 rating in 41 games between the RoadRunners and Cincinnati Cyclones. The fourth-year professional and Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y. native was acquired from Cincinnati on March 5 in exchange for goaltender Cody Rudkowsky, and collected seven assists in nine games with Phoenix. Miller has played eight games in the AHL this season with one assist and four penalty minutes to his credit with the Admirals, Binghamton Senators, and Hamilton Bulldogs.
