Jackals Fall In Close One

Cincinnati, OH- The Elmira Jackals continued the streak of back and forth intense hockey tonight at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. Despite the effort, the Jackals ended up on the loosing end of a 3-1 game.

The scoring got started at the 6:13 mark of the first period on a goal from Ben Gordon. The Jackals would even the score on a Travis Gawrylets goal at the 10:44 mark of the first. The Cyclones then took the 2-1 lead on a goal from Oliver Latendresse at the 2:07 mark of the second period.

The Jackals would pressure goaltender Kyle Gajewski, but were unable to find an answer. The Jackals pulled Michael Teslak for an extra attacker late in the third period, but again were unable to score. The Cyclones Beauregard would add an empty net goal to finish the game at 3-1.
