Jackals Announce Saturday Transactions

Elmira Jackals News Release
The Elmira Jackals announced Saturday that goaltender Daren Machesney has been returned to the team from his loan to their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. Additionally, goaltender Mike Brodeur has been recalled by the B-Sens while defenseman Jamie Fraser has been recalled to the AHL's Houston Aeros.
Machesney was loaned yesterday by Elmira to Binghamton and is 1-4 with the Jackals since being acquired in a trade with Victoria in December.
Brodeur stopped 32 of 35 shots in a 6-3 Jackals victory last night over the Kalamazoo Wings. Fraser chipped in with a pair of assists in the win.
