Odessa Jackalopes News Release
ODESSA, TX - With the regular season completed, the Odessa Jackalopes now prepare themselves for an opening round, playoff battle with the Texas Brahmas. The Jacks closed out their season winning two of their last three games.

Season overall: 31-28-7
Tuesday at Rio Grande Valley, 4-2 Win
Todd Robinson scored two goals and Sebastien Thinel added three assists as the Jackalopes wrapped up their season series going 8-1-1 against the Killer Bees.
Friday at Bossier-Shreveport, 3-2 Loss
Justin Aikins scored the game-winner with three minutes to go in the third period. Alex Dunn and Jeff Pierce each scored for Odessa. The loss ended a four-game win streak for the Jacks.
Saturday vs. Bossier-Shreveport, 4-2 Win
The Jacks scored two of their goals on the power play, and another on a shorthanded breakaway courtesy of Mike Lesperance. Sebastien Thinel was placed into the franchise's Hall of Fame prior to the start of the game. Joel Martin made 26 saves in his first appearance since early January after an AHL call-up.

For the third straight season the Odessa Jackalopes and Texas Brahmas hook up in a playoff series. Odessa and Texas will play a best-of-five, first round tilt. The Jacks were 3-5-1 against the Brahmas this season. Texas is led by the league's leading goal scorer, Chad Woollard - who had 46 goals this season.
NOTES FOR THE WEEK
Todd Robinson is on a 17-game point streak for the Jacks entering the playoffs. Tied with Sebastien Thinel for the team-high this season.Thinel's 110 points during the season secured him his second CHL Scoring Title in the last three years.Along with Joel Martin, Jean Bourbeau was also assigned to the Jackalopes last week.The Jackalopes closed out the regular season on a high note, going 8-4-1 in the month of March.
The Odessa Jackalopes are the Central Hockey League affiliate for the NHL's New York Islanders and the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The team is currently in the middle of its 14th season.
