Jackalopes Three Points Away from a Playoff Spot

(Odessa, TX) - The Odessa Jackalopes wrap up their road trip with three games this week. The team is currently three points away from clinching a playoff spot in the Southern Conference.
Last Week: 0-2-0
Season Overall: 36-9-4
Friday at Rapid City, 7-5 Loss
The Rush scored five unanswered goals to turn a 5-2 Odessa lead into a 7-5 win for Rapid City. Sebastien Thinel finished the game with a goal and two assists.
Saturday at Rapid City, 6-4 Loss
The Jackalopes held an early lead once again of 3-1, before Rapid City scored four unanswered goals in the second period to take a 4-3 lead. Odessa tied the game at 4-4 in the third, but Scott Wray tallied the game winner with one minutes left.

Tuesday at Arizona, 8:05 PM CST
It's the final meeting of the season between the Jackalopes and Sundogs. Odessa is 7-0-1 against Arizona this season, outscoring the Sundogs, 33-23. Sebastien Thinel leads all skaters with 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) in the series.
Friday at Amarillo, 7:05 PM CST
Odessa meets Amarillo for the first time since January 1st, when the Jacks lost 4-3. Odessa is 5-2-0 against the Gorillas this season.
Saturday at Texas, 7:05 PM CST
The Jacks visit the Texas Brahmas since its 5-3 win at the NYTEX Sports Center on November 25th. Texas is currently third in the Southern Conference. Odessa is 2-1-0 this year against the Brahmas.
The Odessa Jackalopes are the Central Hockey League affiliate for the NHL's New York Islanders and the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
