Arizona Sundogs News Release
Winners of three straight, the Arizona Sundogs (18-26-5) picked up six points in the standings after a perfect 3-0-0 road trip last week against the Colorado Eagles, the Wichita Thunder and the Amarillo Gorillas.
Arizona topped the Eagles by a 4-3 mark Friday, winning for the first time at the Budweiser Events Center since November 2007 and snapping an 11-game winless streak against the Northern Conference club. On Saturday the Sundogs topped the Thunder, 2-1, in a shootout and on Sunday Arizona picked up its third straight win and second consecutive shootout win, 5-4 over the Gorillas.
The Sundogs continue their rare six games in seven nights schedule Tuesday at 7:05pm against the league-leading Odessa Jackalopes at Tim's Toyota Center before hosting the Southern Conference's second best team, the Allen Americans, Wednesday and Thursday in Prescott Valley.
