Jack Skille Recalled by Blue Jackets

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons announced Monday that forward Jack Skille has been recalled by the Columbus Blue Jackets, the team's NHL affiliate.

Skille, 26, has appeared in 12 games with the Blue Jackets this season, totaling four goals, four penalty minutes and a +2 rating. IN 190 career NHL games between Columbus, the Florida Panthers and the Chicago Blackhawks, the 6-foot-1, 215-pound winger has amassed 53 points (24 goals, 29 assists).

A native of Madison, Wisconsin, Skille has recorded 24 points (13 goals, 11 assists), nine penalty minutes and a +3 rating in 22 games with the Falcons this season. Friday, Skille notched four goals, an assist and a +4 rating in the team's 8-7 overtime win at the St. John's IceCaps to help the club clinch its second consecutive playoff berth. He became only the fourth player in franchise history to score four goals in a single regular-season game, joining Daniel Briere, Grant Potulny and Chad Wiseman.

The Falcons are back in action at the MassMutual Center Friday, April 11 to host the Portland and Saturday, April 12 versus the Hershey Bears. Both games begin at 7:00 p.m.
