Pirates to Auction off Purple Jerseys to Benefit Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center

Portland, ME - Beginning tonight, Monday, April 7 at 6 PM, the Pirates will hold an online auction of the first set of Purple Night jerseys that were worn by the team on March 28th for the second annual Purple Night presented by Central Maine Medical Center. 75% of all proceeds from the Purple Jersey auctions will benefit Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center. The players whose jerseys are being auctioned online starting on Monday are Sebastian Stalberg (game worn, autographed), Tobias Rieder (game worn, autographed), Greg Carey (game worn, autographed), Chris Rawlings (game worn, autographed), and Brandon Gormley (game issued). Jerseys will start as low as $150 with a Buy It Now price of $700.

There will be four sets of auctions which will each last 7 days, with the first jersey ending at 6 PM on Monday, April 14th. The second set of jerseys will be listed on Tuesday, April 15th and the remaining sets will be listed on April 23rd and May 1st respectively. Jerseys will be shipped within 2 days of payment upon the completion of the auction, and each jersey will come with a signed certificate of authenticity from the Portland Pirates.
