Isotopes and New Orleans Suspended Due to Rain; Game to be Resumed

July 26, 2013 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Albuquerque Isotopes News Release

Tonight's Albuquerque Isotopes home game against the New Orleans Zephyrs has been suspended due to rain and lightning.

The game will be resumed tomorrow at 4:05 p.m. and will be completed as a nine-inning game. Following a 30-minute break between games, the regularly scheduled game will be played as a seven-inning contest. The fireworks show will go on, weather permitting, following the second game as will performances by B-Boy McCoy. Tonight's silent auction supporting Breast Cancer Awareness will carry over into tomorrow's game.

The Isotopes' Rain Check Policy is in effect, meaning fans holding tickets to tonight's suspended game can exchange them exclusively at the Isotopes Park Box Office for any remaining regular season Isotopes home game, based on availability. The Rain Check Policy is full explained on the ticket backs as well as on the Isotopes website (www.abqisotopes.com).

The Isotopes Park gates will open at 3:00 pm on Saturday. Tickets dated July 27 are valid for both games.

Tonight's game was halted in the bottom of the first inning with New Orleans leading 2-1. The Isotopes have a runner on second base (Matt Angle) with two outs and Chili Buss at the plate with a 0-1 count.
