Last Game: The Omaha Storm Chasers defeated the RedHawks, 2-1, in 12 innings Thursday at Werner Park in the final meeting of the season between the clubs. With the bases loaded in the bottom of the 12th inning, Max Ramirez hit a sacrifice fly to deep right field, scoring Irving Falu for Omaha's third walk-off win of the series and fourth against OKC in 2013. Omaha had secured a 1-0 lead in the first inning when Christian Colon hit a home run. The RedHawks tied the game when Jimmy Paredes hit a homer on the first pitch of the fifth inning. Omaha pitcher Buddy Baumann (2-0) earned the win after pitching a scoreless 12th inning. RedHawks reliever Jason Stoffel (4-1) suffered his first loss of the season. The teams split their season series, 8-8, with seven games decided by one run.

He struck out a season-high seven, and for the third consecutive start, he did not walk a batter...After a couple of rough starts once he joined the rotation, LeBlanc has turned in back-to-back quality starts, holding opponents to five runs over 13.0 IP...LeBlanc began the season in Miami's starting rotation and made 13 overall appearances with the Marlins, going 1-5 with a 5.18 ERA. New Additions: Infielder Raoul Torrez and pitcher Jorge De Leon have both joined the team from Double-A Corpus Christi. Torrez has seen limited action with the RedHawks this season, appearing in five games and going 2-for-15 at the plate. He had been with the Hooks since mid-June and hit .212 with two homers over 19 games. De Leon is set to make his team and Triple-A debut. In 29 appearances with Corpus Christi, De Leon went 0-3 with a 4.27 ERA and converted six of seven save opportunities. This month he's notched five saves and has allowed two runs over 10 innings while holding opponents to a .097 average.

As the Crowe Flies: Astros outfielder Trevor Crowe will also report to OKC tonight to begin a rehab assignment. Crowe has been sidelined since spraining the AC joint in his right shoulder after he ran into a wall while attempting to make a catch on June 20. He spent the first month of the season with the RedHawks, hitting .307 with two homers and 14 RBI. Since getting called up to the Astros in early May, Crowe has played in 34 games and batted .200 with a homer and five RBI.

Close Calls: With last night's loss, the RedHawks have lost four of their last five one-run games, including each of the last three. They are now 15-16 in one-run games this season. Last night also marked their second extra-inning loss in three days. The team had been 6-1 in extras prior to the series in Omaha.

Mound Magic: During the road trip OKC's pitching staff has posted a 2.09 ERA (18 ER/77.1 IP). The starters combined for a 2.15 ERA (13 ER/54.1 IP) and allowed more than two earned runs in a game just once during the trip.

Sosa Sparking: Ruben Sosa has hit safely in his last four games and in six of his last seven, going 10-for-24 (.417). He has four multi-hit games since July 13, including going 2-for-4 last night. Sosa's inside-the-park home run Wednesday in Omaha was the first home run of his professional baseball career. It happened in his 132nd career game and 402nd career at bat. It was the first inside-the park-homer ever hit at Werner Park (opened 2011) and the first by a RedHawk since Hernan Iribarren did it against Round Rock on April 13, 2010 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Rockin' Robbie: Robbie Grossman went 2-for-4 yesterday and has hit safely in five of his last six games, going 11-for-22. He is hitting .372 in July -- over a 200 point improvement from his .170 June.

A Healthy Inheritance: RedHawks relievers have allowed only four the last 30 inherited runners to score, including none of the last 19. The RedHawks have allowed only 34 percent of inherited runners to score throughout the season.

Dinger Details: Last night Jimmy Paredes belted the RedHawks' 20th homer of July. The RedHawks have hit 44 homers over the last two months after connecting on just 36 dingers over the first two months of the season.
