Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
(Allentown, PA) - The Lehigh Valley IronPigs (57-46) saw their five-game winning streak come to an end on Friday evening as the Syracuse Mets (46-57) won 6-3. The IronPigs recorded just three hits and saw Bailey Falter (4-1) receive his first loss of the season.
Daniel Palka put Syracuse on the scoreboard against Falter in the top of the first inning as he hit his 18th home run of the season. The Mets would take a 1-0 lead due to the home run then extend their lead to 4-0 in the top of the third inning.
