MOOSIC, PA -The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (53-50) shut out the Buffalo Bisons 5-0. Oswald Peraza launched a two-run home run as the RailRiders tallied their ninth shutout win of the season behind Jhony Brito.

Peraza launched his team-leading fifteenth homer of the season with a two-run shot in the first against Shaun Anderson. He's homered six times in his last 18 games since the start of July.

He also however allowed four walks, matching a career-high. He allowed just two hits.

A bases-loaded walk to Oswaldo Cabrera brought home Ronald Guzmán in the sixth for a 5-0 lead. José Mujica was solid out of the RailRiders bullpen, going two and third shutout innings with just two baserunners. Zach Greene tallied the final four outs to close down the shutout win. Brito (6-2) earned the victory with Anderson (2-2) taking the loss for Buffalo.

The series continues on Saturday night at 6:05 PM when Clarke Schmidt (0-0, 4.15) takes the mound. It's Super Hero Night at the ballpark with a Thor Bobblehead giveaway to the first 2,500 fans through the gates. Tickets and details are available at swbrailriders.com.
